Some time before I decided to take early retirement I thought long and hard about why I would do that and what accomplishments I aspire during the fall and winter years of my life. I enjoy gardening, short cut cooking, crafting, art, family dinners, organizing, writing short humor quips, and sharing it all with someone. I made a bucket list and looked into blogging via Google where I discovered a path I wanted to travel. Blogging about the things I enjoy and sharing with you. Here I am two years later and I'm still learning but comfortable with sharing the wonderful things I've learned through the blog and other social media.
My favorite book is If Life Is A Bowl Full Of Cherries, What Am I Doing In The Pits by Erma Bombeck. It is about the every day life atrocities and finding the greener side of the fence. It is written with the snarky kind of humor I enjoy and much of the way I view life.
This is the part of the book flap where I thank my children for the constant source of inspiration, my friends for enduring my snarky humor, my grandkids for not seeing my faults, my husband for his reliability and willingness to wait until I'm done photographing before eating what I've made and you that read my words because you want to.
You can keep up with me and what I'm sharing through email (sign up in right hand column) or follow me on Facebook. Here are a few of my favorite posts.
